Why Binghamton?

People frequently ask me “Why did you choose to attend Binghamton University?” Here are a few of the great reasons why I chose Binghamton University as the place to complete my education: First off, it is an affordable university, with great academics and a good reputation. The atmosphere here is very welcoming and friendly. It is not too big and not too small. Professors are open to helping students and students are open to helping fellow students. As I mentioned before, the academics are very good, with many interesting and exciting courses to choose from. There are numerous clubs and organizations to participate in, ranging from sports, volunteering, arts and crafts, food, music, language, culture, you name it! Also, exciting opportunities are available through the university, most notably the extensive list of study abroad options! But what I enjoy and love most about Binghamton University is the diversity. Almost 2000 students come here from numerous different countries to study. It is a real treat to be able to learn about their countries, cultures, and traditions first hand. So until next blog (in which I will be telling you about my adventures in Turkey this summer),
