When the sun comes out…

It has been really nice out in Binghamton lately.  Even the nights have been milder.  And when the sun comes out, the people come out.  The hill in the middle of the Hinman Community is covered by bees and blankets.  People basking in the sun and actually putting on sun lotion is an amazing site for sore eyes. Usually this type of weather (like 50-60 degrees) doesn’t happen until about mid-April, so we are getting spoiled.  There is something wonderful about studying for tests and finals on a beautiful hill laying in the sun and talking with friends.  The days are getting longer and the sun is setting around 7, which leaves a lot of time to do work in this beautiful sun.  There is always a ton of games to play on this hill, like baseball and frisbee.  Hinman this week is having a Legends of the Hinman Temple game in the lower dining hall to celebrate this phenomena.  Basically when the sun comes out school gets a lot better and classes become a lot easier to study for.  The redness when you close your eyes when you are looking at the sun is a good thing to me, even if it damages your retina.  The orange, yellow, and white when you take a picture of the sun is so beautiful.  Ending this paragraph, is my little quote of the day, “As long as there is life, there is hope”.
